Dear Rahul,
This journey of EMBA program and the milestone of getting the degree from USA cannot be completed without this letter. It’s not possible for me to say just THANK YOU as you have provided exceptional backing and support to me on every decision that we took together – be it coming on GCP opportunity, me continuing the higher education here. And now we deciding to struggle till the time we have exhausted with all our resources to at least recover the investment we have made so far. Only both of us are aware of the investment we have made of blood, sweat and tears into this country.
Unfortunately, we experienced RFEs on L2 Extension, EAD card delays and you had to resign from the job at Capgemini. You know that how I still feel accountable for all these things you had to go through. But at the same time, I feel there is also a silver lining to this as we have together struggled through this and still had a positive attitude towards life. Looking at each other we channelized our energies towards learning new things, investing in ourselves and have hope of getting returns on that. I do not want to glorify anything for us and be practical but still I feel amazed on what we have achieved together in these 3 years. I am not talking about any material aspect but we changing our thinking process, understanding each other and daughters. Always taking extra care of supporting each other at hard times and despite all odds have the hope for the best and forgiveness in heart. Given the normal times this could not have been possible.
I am fortunate to have you as the life partner who does not have an ego but a very understanding nature, I bow to the exceptional support that you have provided me without which I could not have survived through this. I strongly believe that we are going through purification process and there will be an end to the pains we have gone through.
Some time back you had written letter on my birthday and called me an engine of our car but engine cannot run without a key and you are the key of our car.
Love you loads,
Kavita
